* 1er enduro en août 1982 en 59 minutes (il n’y avait à l’époque que 12 kms), j’avais 20 ans, je faisais partie de cette 1ère « vague » de coureurs des années 80 qui se lançaient à la course à pied.

* Mon meilleur temps est de 59’25 le 27 août 2000 (14 kms)

* Mon meilleur souvenir pour cette course : descendre pour la 1ère fois sous la barre de 1 h (en 2000); on se relayait avec un copain qui avait le même objectif, ses lacets étaient défaits, il ne voulait pas les remettre pour ne pas perdre de temps car on savait que l’on flirtait avec la barre des 1 h.
– Votre pire souvenir ?
* Pas de pire souvenir, toutes les éditions (y compris celles par grand vent, sous l’orage, par temps gris) ont été belles et surtout celles où j’y ai initié mes enfants et parfois des amis.

* J’ai 55 ans, pas de préparation particulière, je viens de courir des « montées verticales » dans les Alpes (Samoëns, Montgenèvre).

* Mais il me faut plus que deux mots ! : j’aime cette course, je m’y retrouve, le mélange des coureurs (et coureuses) de l’Afrique de l’Est auprès des anonymes, la traversée de la rue commerçante, la descente vers la mer, la foule puis l’effort solitaire, le sable dur et mouillé et le sable sec, les herbus, la traversée des sapins, la pointe d’Agon, le retour par « paquets » (souvent vent de face) et vers la foule à nouveau, le dernier demi-tour avant l’arrivée.
